SEEK.COM.AU - the suckiest job site ever (so far)
Unfortunately they are one of the most used, if not the BIGGEST , sites around but they have a very annoying, morally reprehensible and I dare say even ILLEGAL policy. Now, I'm used to rejections from employers - I mean, I'm damn good at what I do but there's always possibly someone better qualified than me, and I have no problem with that, although many employers do one of the following; 1. Use an AI system to read the applications, a human never gets eyeballs on them. 2. Change their requirements 1/2 way through the process. 3. Reject you because you don't have expertise in a particular application, when that application will have to be taught to them anyway ( ATO is a prime example of this - subject of another post) 4. Complain that "we had a lot of applications" and couldn't read them all - hey, if you can't cope with the volume, DON'T ADVERTISE THE BLOODY JOBS !! 5. And this is the one that really REALLY pisses me off, DISCRIMINATION bas...
